The Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M

Unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia was a limited edition, higher performance version of the F430, boasting increased power and less weight than the standard production model together with a faster gearshift and a new traction control system. The result was a car capable of reaching 100km/h in 3.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 325km/h.
Subsequently, Ferrari decided to create a limited-edition version of the track-ready 430 Scuderia. Dubbed the 16M, as the 2008 Constructor’s Championship was the 16th Constructor’s Championship won by the fabled marque, this gave Ferrari’s best clients the opportunity to enjoy the sound and the fury of the 430 Scuderia’s V-8 in an open-air environment.
Similar to the 430 Scuderia, the interior is stripped of virtually all creature comforts, even carpeting, to save as much weight as possible to improve performance. Tipping the scales at roughly 3,300 pounds, some 200 pounds lighter than the F430 Spider, Ferrari claimed a top speed of 315 km/h and a 0–100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds.
